What things do you buy?

We are accepting childrenโ€™s toys, books, shoes, small gear and clothing that is in excellent condition! We accept clothing in Sizes Preemie- Size 8. Shoes up to size 3 youth.

What brands are you looking for?

We prefer quality, unique, vintage and boutique clothing. We pride ourselves on offering a curated selection, so customers donโ€™t have to search hard to find the good stuff! We love brands like Gap, Primary, Hanna Andersson, Zara, Mini Boden, Tea Collection, and Ralph Lauren. We especially love boutique brands like Rylee & Cru, Molo, Jamie Kay, City Mouse, and Quincy Mae. Our goal is to offer items that will hold their value, and cycle through the resale market, child after child!

TLDR story of why we buy the way we do.

We prefer to buy outright. This way there is no mystery. You can have clarity on what exactly we are buying, and the amount you are getting. With consignment stores, the time between dropping off and getting paid means that you likely forgot what exactly you dropped off! If you have nicer items, you shouldnโ€™t be left to worry that theyโ€™ll be underpriced. We value quality pieces and price them accordingly, so you earn a fair amount, instantly.

People often ask what percentage we pay. Well, we donโ€™t pay a set percentage. Not everything has the same resale potential. If it is something generic, or very common like a plain onesie, we might pay 25%, if itโ€™s something thatโ€™s super desirable and will sell quickly, we might pay 50%. Not paying a set percentage also allows us to make exceptions and buy things that need small repairs or stains treated. We will just pay slightly less to offset the effort of washing and repairing things.

We buy all Seasons! Retail seasons are way too confusing. I donโ€™t feel right expecting customers to remember that Halloween costumes go out in August and Spring is in January!

What types of toys do you accept?

We like to buy open-ended toys, Montessori inspired, imaginative and pretend play, wooden toys. We will accept puzzles with up to 100 pieces. We buy board games that are designed for children under 10 years old.

We do not buy battery-powered toys or stuffies. All items must meet current safety standards, please check cpsc.gov for recalls!
